Itinerary

DAY 1

 

  • 08:44 PM – Departure by local train/private bus from CSMT to Kasara. Meet the group at your respective boarding points.
  • 11:00 PM – Arrive at Kasara and transfer to base village by private jeep. Rest and freshen up at a rustic homestay.

DAY  2

 

  • 2:00 AM – Start the trek to Harishchandragad under the moonlight, navigating through dense forests and rocky trails.
  • 05:30 AM – Reach Konkankada or the summit, explore the fort, and enjoy the stunning sunrise. Relax and have breakfast at the top.
  • 08:00 AM – Explore the fort’s highlights, including the Kedareshwar Cave, Harishchandreshwar Temple, and other ancient remnants.
  • 10:00 AM – Begin the descent back to the base village, soaking in the natural beauty of the area.
  • 12:30 PM – Reach the base, freshen up, and enjoy a hearty traditional lunch.
  • 02:00 PM – Depart from the base village by jeep back to Kasara or Kalyan.
  • 04:30 PM – Board the train/private bus from Kasara/Kalyan to CSMT, returning home with memories of an epic adventure.
