What's the fitness level required?
Most trips work for anyone with average daily-walk fitness. Treks need a bit more — start with daily walks 4 weeks prior.
Are meals included?
Yes. All breakfasts and dinners are included; lunches on travel days are typically on your own.
Can I join solo?
Absolutely. About 70% of our travelers come solo and leave with a tribe.
What's the refund policy?
Full refund up to 21 days before departure. 50% between 21 and 7 days. No refund within 7 days, but you can transfer your slot.

Genuinely well organised. The trip leader had a plan for everything and still left us enough free time. Kedarkantha Winter Trek was even better than the photos.

Third trip with Backpackers India and the standard has not dropped. Stays were clean, food was good and the group was fun. Kedarkantha Winter Trek is a must do.

Travelled solo and never felt out of place. Only note is that one drive was longer than expected, but Kedarkantha Winter Trek made up for it completely.
