Good to know
Do Indians need a visa for Malaysia?
Indian passport holders have a visa exemption for visits up to 30 days through 31 December 2026. Bring a passport valid for at least six months, onward tickets and hotel bookings, and submit MDAC on time. For travel from January 2027, confirm whether the exemption has been extended.
What is the best season?
December to March generally offers the best Langkawi beach conditions. Kuala Lumpur and Genting receive rain throughout the year, so pack a light raincoat for your outings.
How should I pay locally?
Keep Malaysian ringgit handy for markets and small eateries. International cards are widely accepted at hotels, malls and larger attractions, but check your bank's overseas settings before travelling.
Are flights and theme parks included?
Your price covers hotels, breakfast, listed transfers, shared tours and standard cable car admissions. Purchase the Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi flight and international flights separately; Genting theme parks also cost extra.
