Good to know
Do Indians need a visa for Nepal?
You do not need a Nepal visa as an Indian citizen. Adults flying should carry a valid Indian passport or original Election Commission voter ID; Aadhaar and PAN are not substitutes.
When is this wildlife route best?
Choose October to April for this route, with warmer conditions in Chitwan during spring. Monsoon flooding can suspend jeep routes and canoe activities, so plan outside the main rainy period.
Which currency is practical?
Carry Nepalese rupees for small expenses and an international card for larger payments. Cash is handy near Chitwan and at smaller shops, where payment networks vary.
Are wildlife activities and the return to Kathmandu included?
Your listed shared Chitwan programme is included when conditions allow safe operation. The package ends in Pokhara; a Kathmandu flight or return drive and any additional night cost extra.
