Good to know
Is a Nepal visa needed for Indians?
You do not need a visa as an Indian citizen. Adults flying should carry a valid Indian passport or original Election Commission voter ID; Aadhaar and PAN do not replace these documents.
What is the best time for this route?
October to November and March to April generally balance mountain visibility and wildlife travel. Winter is cooler, especially at sunrise; monsoon conditions can interrupt roads, flights and Chitwan excursions.
What currency and payments are useful?
Use Nepalese rupees for small purchases and carry an international card as backup. Keep cash handy outside major hotels rather than relying only on Indian notes or UPI.
Are adventure activities and Kathmandu return included?
Your Pokhara leisure activities are optional and cost extra. The package ends at Pokhara Airport; any Kathmandu flight or return drive and additional accommodation are charged separately.
