The trip
Why this trip works
Begin with Ubud's temples, rice terraces and Sacred Monkey Forest before settling into Kuta or Seminyak. From Sanur, a shared fast boat takes you to selected western Nusa Penida viewpoints, while a separate day pairs Padang Padang Beach with Uluwatu. This five-night route includes scheduled transfers and involves uneven roads, steps and boat journeys, so expect a moderately active holiday. Weather, sea conditions and local safety restrictions shape boat operations and access to the viewpoints.

Before you book
Questions travellers ask
What visa do Indian travellers need?
You need an Indonesian visa and, as an Indian passport holder, are generally eligible for a paid 30-day visa on arrival or e-VOA. Bring a passport valid for at least six months and an onward or return ticket. Visa fees are extra.
When is Nusa Penida best visited?
April to October is generally drier, though rough seas can disrupt fast boats in any month. Keep some breathing room rather than booking a tight flight connection after your marine excursion.
Can I use Indian rupees?
Use Indonesian rupiah rather than Indian rupees for your purchases. Carry cash for smaller expenses and an international card for larger establishments, and choose authorised money changers.
Is Nusa Penida included?
Yes, your excursion includes scheduled harbour transfers, a shared return fast boat and an island vehicle for selected western viewpoints. Snorkelling, beach descents and optional activities are not included.
