The trip
Why this trip works
This Japan tour package from India pairs three Tokyo nights with two in Kyoto. Explore Senso-ji, Meiji Shrine and Harajuku with your guide, then ride out to Lake Kawaguchi and Oshino Hakkai, where clear skies bring Mount Fuji into view. The Shinkansen carries you west to Kyoto for Fushimi Inari, Kinkaku-ji and the Arashiyama bamboo grove. You fly into Tokyo and home from Kansai, so there is no backtracking.
