The trip
Why this trip works
This South Korea tour package from India keeps you in Seoul for four nights, so you unpack once. Walk Gyeongbokgung Palace, the hanok lanes of Bukchon, Insadong and Cheonggyecheon Stream, then look over the city from N Seoul Tower before COEX in Gangnam. Evenings in Myeongdong are yours for street food and shopping. A free day leaves room for exploring on your own or a paid DMZ tour when it operates.

Before you book
Questions travellers ask
Do Indian passport holders need a South Korea visa?
Ordinary Indian passport holders generally need a South Korean tourist visa before travel. K-ETA is not a substitute for travellers who require a visa. Prepare financial, employment and itinerary documents and allow sufficient processing time.
What is the best season?
April to May and September to November generally offer comfortable sightseeing. Winter is cold but possible with suitable clothing. Blossom and foliage timing varies, while summer can be hot, humid and rainy.
What currency and payments should I use?
For everyday payments, use Korean won. International cards work widely, but carry cash for markets and some transport-card top-ups. A locally purchased transport card is useful for independent travel.
Is the DMZ included or guaranteed?
Day four is included as leisure. A DMZ tour can be added at extra cost when operating, but access remains subject to closures, capacity and security decisions. JSA entry is not included.
